E Connector Solutions, Inc. (ECS) was incorporated in 1979 as a supplier of contacts to the electronic connector industry. Due to its innovative design capabilities, ECS expanded into full connector manufacturing while developing a "can do" attitude — designing and producing many parts that other manufacturers felt were impossible to make. Today ECS serves the telecom, military, and medical industries among many others.

ECS is headquartered at 10541 Ashdale Street, Stanton, CA 90680. We also have manufacturing facilities and authorized sales offices and distributors across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Europe/Israel, Mexico, Pacific Rim, and India. Yes. Custom connector design and manufacturing is one of ECS's core strengths. With in-house tooling, high-speed metal stamping, injection molding, and assembly capabilities, we can design and produce virtually any custom interconnect solution. ECS connector housings are typically manufactured from high-quality engineering plastics such as LCP, nylon, and PBT. Contacts are stamped from copper alloys with plating options including matte tin, gold, and other finishes depending on the application and compliance requirements.

Yes. Most ECS product lines are available in multiple termination styles including through-hole (PC tail), surface mount (SMT), and press-fit (compliant pin) configurations. Please refer to the individual product pages or contact us to confirm availability for a specific part.

RoHS & Compliance

ECS offers both RoHS compliant and non-RoHS versions of many products. RoHS compliant parts carry unique part numbers designating their compliance. The primary difference is that RoHS versions use lead-free plating (matte tin or gold) in place of leaded tin. Learn more about ECS RoHS compliance.

All RoHS compliant parts have unique part numbers that include a plating code designating the lead-free finish. Please reference ECS's catalog or contact us to confirm whether a specific part number is RoHS compliant.

Yes. ECS offers both matte tin and gold plating as RoHS compliant alternatives to leaded tin plating. Not all plating options are available on all parts — please contact us to confirm availability for your specific part number.
